Many entrepreneurs and executives from the hospitality sector attended the 1st day, the Covid-free HORECA. The professional visitors filled the exhibitors with optimism for successful business agreements.
From day one, HORECA 2022 confirms its title as the biggest exhibition in Greece, for Hotel and Restaurant Catering and Equipment, promising to be filled with commercial agreements, exchange of ideas and new trends. Many entrepreneurs and executives from the hospitality sector were present since early in the morning. The most important decision makers of the sector had the opportunity to check out a great number of innovative products and solutions in a Covid-free environment, helping them to contribute to the development of their businesses, and be informed about all developments, in terms of services for the hospitality sector.
The 500 exhibitors were impressed and excited by the fact that visitors were determined to discuss their real needs of their business and find solutions for their hotels, restaurants, and cafés and leave the exhibition with actual ideas, being able to compare prices and proceed to business agreements.
A grand opening attended by many businessmen and political representatives
Representatives of the political and business world, as well as the leading institutions of Tourism were present at the grand opening of HORECA 2022, which took place at 14:00 and greeted by the Minister of Development & Investments, Adonis Georgiadis. For more information see here
Special events that educated and inspired visitors
The speeches given at the Beer & Spirits Show, as well as the Business Lab and the Gastronomy Forum were a great success on the first day. The presentations and panels attracted the interest of visitors and exhibitors who filled the stages that were set up in Hall 1, Hall 3 and Hall 4. From early in the morning until the closing of the exhibition, hundreds of visitors gathered at the specially designed venues of the parallel events to attend with undiminished interest the rich program of thematic events on the 1st day of HORECA.
At the stage of Beer & Spirits (Hall 1), the professional visitors of the exhibition, who attended the presentations, had the opportunity to be informed, among other things, about the different faces of the all day cafés, the Greek cocktail spirits and The Dos and Don’ts in the creation of cocktails. The Gastronomy Forum (Hall 4) was held in a specially designed venue, in the presence of important speakers and experienced chefs, addressing professionals from the field of gastronomy. Organic crops, green gastronomy and rawism were the main sections. Read more here.
