Thousands of industry professionals meet once again for the 3rd day at HORECA

Visitability continues at a steady pace, with hospitality sector professionals coming in from every corner of Greece for the 3rd consecutive day.

The 3rd day of HORECA is another opportunity for important meetings and will be the center of developments and investments in the hospitality sector. Already from the very first hour, it becomes obvious that the positive atmosphere continues to inspire all visitors and boost the result of the exhibition’s great commercial efficiency. The 500 exhibitors start their meetings from early in the morning, and steadily increase their pace, while visitors express their absolute satisfaction with the variety, quality and innovation of the exhibits. During this 3rd day many entrepreneurs seal new deals and renew already successful collaborations.

Intense action at the stages of special events today

For the 3rd day, the simultaneous events pique the interest by attracting praising comments for both their informative and educational character. The presentations and discussions that took place during the first two days with the participation of experts received very positive comments, as they solved many questions and opened new horizons.

The topics at HORECA Lab in Hall 1 are also very interesting today. The day is dedicated, among other things, to Financing Programs for Hotels, payment solutions and hotel computerization, social media and Digital Marketing. You can see the program in detail here.

The action of the Panhellenic cocktail championships culminates today at 16:00, with the 27th Panhellenic Classic Cocktail Competition. You can see the detailed program here.

At the Gastronomy Lab stage in Hall 4, top chefs and renowned gastronomy experts will analyze, among others, topics such as: greens & herbs of the Greek land and the Greek winter: seasonality & locality, while the Cantina restaurant in Sifnos will be awarded. Also, the Pastry Chef from the legendary Ritz hotel in Paris and professor at the Ecole Ritz Escoffier, Martin Millouet will get on the stage and the program will continue with a very interesting Masterclass from the Plat Institute for Augmented Gastronomy in Barcelona. HORECA is hosting today, in conference room C1, the forum entitled “The Greek Hospitality Ecosystem” by the Hellenic Business Association (EENE). See the detailed program here.

Trends, problems, solutions and new culinary habits will be discussed today in the C2 conference room, as part of the two-day Gastronomy Workshop, by the Chef’s Club of Greece. Specifically, issues such as inflation in the catering sector, the new production model for safe and sufficient food, the iconnection between gastronomy and tourism, the lack of human resources in catering and tourism and Veganism and plant based foods will be analyzed.
