Many entrepreneurs and executives from the hospitality sector attended the 1st day of HORECA. The influx of professionals, who are the real decision makers in the sector, filled the exhibitors with optimism for successful business agreements.
From day one, HORECA 2023 confirms its title as the biggest exhibition in Greece, for Hotel and Restaurant Catering and Equipment, promising to be filled with commercial agreements, exchange of ideas and new trends. Many entrepreneurs and executives from the hospitality sector were present since early in the morning. The most important decision makers of the sector had the opportunity to check out a great number of innovative products and solutions in a Covid-free environment, helping them to contribute to the development of their businesses, and be informed about all developments, in terms of services for the hospitality sector. The 500 exhibitors were impressed and excited by the fact that visitors were determined to discuss their real needs of their business and find solutions for their hotels, restaurants, and cafés and leave the exhibition with actual ideas, being able to compare prices and proceed to business agreements.
A grand opening attended by many businessmen and political representatives

The exhibition hosted the 6th International Hospitality Forum organized by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels in collaboration with Phocuswright. Global hospitality executives analyzed the trends that shape the next day of hospitality and highlight sustainability as a driver of tourism development.>>
At Hall 1, at HORECA Lab, experienced and renowned HoReCa industry’s executives as well as management and marketing experts presented all the trends and developments for the promotion, management and operation of hotels, coffee businesses and restaurants. Ten speeches were given in the two major thematic sections (Hotels and Restaurants-Café-Bars). >>
HORECA in collaboration with Charis Charalambidis and Gastronomy Essentials presented this year for the first time the gastronomic event Gastronomy Lab. The specially designed and impressive stage at Hall 4 hosted great names of global and domestic gastronomy, presenting all the new trends and techniques that are prevalent worldwide. Today, Day 1, topics such as the aromatic map of Greek flavors, seafood and the integration of Greek tradition into Japanese cuisine were highlighted, among others and Peskesi restaurant in Heraklion, Crete, was awarded. >>
The stage of the Coffee Events in Hall 1 hosted the Panhellenic Championships of SCA Greece and the battle started today with the finals in the Cup Tasters category. >>
