For the 2nd day, HORECA 2024 was from early in the morning a place for meeting and informing dynamic entrepreneurs who envision, follow the trends of the time and want to develop their business.
he 2nd day of HORECA 2024 ended attracting a large number of visitors who discovered the best proposals from 500 exhibitors and creative ideas for their businesses. Discussions with experienced executives of the market, cooking shows with award-winning chefs from Greece and abroad, coffee and cocktail championships, conferences regarding all global trends, networking and countless deals! Thousands of owners as well as executives of hotels, cafés, bars, restaurants, patisseries, bakeries, etc., passed the entrance of the Metropolitan Expo in order to get to know first-hand all the trends and new proposals that will give their businesses an extra boost.
Visitors were particularly impressed, since as they said, they were given the opportunity to see products they could really use in their businesses and all sorts of solutions in all areas, such as hotel equipment, catering equipment, kitchen appliances, security systems, computerization, power supply, etc. They all said that during these two days they had the chance to find solutions for everything they were looking for, regardless of budget and business category.

Innovative ideas were presented at the special events
The participation in the parallel events was similar, and visitors and exhibitors had the opportunity to attend interesting speeches, workshops and competitions.
The exhibition hosted today the 7th International Hospitality Forum organized by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels with the cooperation of Questex. Global hospitality executives mapped the new demanding reality taking shape in the hotel industry and analyzed the challenges that are emerging as Greek tourism reaches its maturity. For the 2nd day today, visitors had the opportunity to attend speeches by experts and executives of the business sector, at the stage of the HORECA Business Lab, at Ηall 3, enriching their knowledge and receiving information on the latest developments and new trends in the hotel sector, restaurants, bars and cafés. Among the issues covered were the search for hotel talents, the evaluation of Greek hotels, financing programs and subsidies for hotels, Computerization and Quality Control in Catering, as well as how a catering business can smoothly transition to next generation. The presentations and live cooking shows on the Gastronomy Lab stage captivated the audience with a rich theme that included, among other things, 3D printing in gastronomy, Zero Waste Cocktails and Lactose Free confectionery. Read more here.
The spirit of competition was also intense at Coffee Events (Hall 1) where the semi-final Barista competitions took place.
Also, at the Beer & Spirits Show stage at Hall 1, the importance of regenerative agriculture in the coffee sector was analyzed while the 11th Panhellenic Greek Cocktail Competition took place. Read more here.
