Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, honored HORECA trade show with his presence and visited the stands of the exhibitors with the President & CEO of FORUM SA, Mr. Thanassis Panagoulias.
The Prime Minister, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, visited HORECA 2024 exhibition, on Saturday, February 10, showing his support for the dynamic sector of trade exhibitions. Mr. Mitsotakis was guided to the exhibition stands by the President and CEO of FORUM SA, Mr. Thanasis Panagoulias, he was informed by the exhibitors about the developments in the market and saw the pulse of the tourism and mass catering market up close.
“I am particularly happy that I am given the opportunity for another year to visit the largest sectoral exhibition of catering and tourism, HORECA. And if I judge from the number of exhibitors, but mainly from the atmosphere I received, I believe that we have a very good tourist season ahead of us”, said the Prime Minister before leaving the exhibition.
“Great dynamism, many Greek companies willing to invest and develop, and I believe that this is the best reflection in the real economy of the great progress our country has made overall in the economy in recent years”, Mr. Mitsotakis added.
For his part, Mr. Panagoulias thanked the Prime Minister for his visit to HORECA, which he described as a “vote of confidence in the exhibition organization” and pointed out that “the tourism industry is looking forward to an impressive 2024 which we believe we will have”.
The Prime Minister was accompanied during his visit by the Minister of Development, Mr. Kostas Skrekas, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security, Mr. Vassilis Spanakis, the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Ms. Elena Rapti and the General Director of New Democracy, Mr. Yiannis Smyrlis.
