The 17th HORECA ends today, having left excellent impressions both for its organizational part and its exhibition wealth.
After a highly satisfactory three-day period – both for the 500 exhibitors who concluded many commercial deals and for the visitors, who were able to find solutions for their businesses in various important areas, the industry’s top exhibition reaches its end. The 500 exhibitors were there to answer every single question from prospective customers and present their products and services in the best possible way. Indeed, business activities and commercial agreements are being conducted and concluded in every corner of HORECA 2023 for the fourth consecutive day. Visitors are particularly impressed, since they were given the opportunity to see products they could really use in their businesses, while they all praised the comprehensiveness of the solutions provided. They said that they had the chance to find solutions for everything they were looking for, regardless of budget and category of business.
The special events stages are full and busy for yet another day
The attendance at the special events is once again impressive, with the speeches and events captivating the visitors. Today, Monday, the last rounds of speeches are held on key issues concerning the wider hospitality industry, but also bring the curtain down on the Panhellenic Cocktail and Coffee Championships.
HORECA Lab in Hall 1 concludes today with educational talks and discussions, such as the Zero Waste Lab which deals with ways to increase revenue with proper materials management, proper costing and expense management, managing and attracting customers through social media as well as quality control in the kitchen, bar and hall. On the same stage, at 14:30, the 12th Panhellenic Non Alcohol Cocktail Competition will be held and the 2nd Battle of the bars Competition follows. You can see the detailed program here.
The cream of the crop chefs presents the culinary trends for the 4th and last day at the Gastronomy Lab in Hall 4. The topics will revolve around, the connection between food and memory and celiac disease and the gluten-free diet. Afterwards, Soil restaurant will be awarded from HORECA and the transformation of traditional Cretan flavors will be presented. The program of the Gastronomy Lab will conclude with a themed session on organic bread and its nutritional value. You can see the detailed program here.
Today, the two-day Gastronomy Workshop, by the Chef’s Club of Greece in the C2 conference room will be also held, where topics such as: the role of online marketing in promoting mass catering businesses and creating new markets, healthy diet and modern gastronomy, traditional Greek cuisine in restaurants in 2023, Greek restaurants abroad and the promotion of regional cuisines. As part of the Coffee Events today, the excitement culminates with the finals of the Panhellenic Brewers Cup and Barista Championships.
At the end of the day and after four days filled with commercial deals, exhibitors and visitors bid goodbye to HORECA, always grateful for everything they have gained.
