Commercial agreements with upscale professionals were concluded on the 2nd day

Numerous products and solutions were displayed for the 2nd day by the 500 exhibitors, giving answers to questions of entrepreneurs from the hospitality sector.

Entrepreneurs from the hospitality sector and all over the country continued to visit HORECA 2023, at the Metropolitan Expo. The second day of the exhibition was even busier, with feverish consultations and many commercial agreements. A large number of professionals from the hospitality sector crossed the gates of the Metropolitan Expo, to be informed about the latest trends and ideas that will give an extra boost to their business.

The 500 exhibitors were there to tackle every single question from prospective customers and present their products and services in the best possible way. Visitors are particularly impressed, since as they said, they were given the opportunity to see products they could really use in their businesses and all sorts of solutions in all areas, such as hotel equipment, catering equipment, kitchen appliances, security systems, computerization, power supply, etc. They all said that during these two days they had the chance to find solutions for everything they were looking for, regardless of budget and business category.

Special events: a source of expertise and enthusiasm

The participation in the parallel events was similar, and visitors and exhibitors had the opportunity to attend interesting speeches, workshops and competitions. For the 2nd day today, visitors had the opportunity to attend speeches by experts and executives of the business sector, at the stage of the HORECA Lab, at Ηall 1, enriching their knowledge and receiving information on the latest developments and new trends in the hotel sector, restaurants, bars and cafés.

Among the issues covered were building a successful and profitable catering business from A to Z, training staff and handling complaints and reviews about catering establishments. Also, on the stage of the HORECA Lab, an event was hosted by the National Accreditation System, with a theme that included Green Hotels – The present and the future of Tourism, as well as the role of quality in supply chain management and the trust it engenders in the consumer, with speakers leading executives of the political and business world. At the same time, the 10th Panhellenic Greek Cocktail Competition took place on the same stage today. You can see the detailed program here.

World-class chefs once again introduced us to the art of gastronomy at the Gastronomy Lab in Hall 4. The presentations and live cooking shows on the Gastronomy Forum stage captivated the audience with a rich theme that included, among other things, tradition and the modernization of Rhodesian cuisine, HoReCa and food waste and the position of Agioreitian cuisine in the halls of haute cuisine. The Marathias restaurant in Tinos was also awarded. Top names in world gastronomy such as Pastry Chef Luc Debove and Pizzaiolo Luciano Sorbillo and Vito Monaco took the stage today. HORECA hosted the Fortune Greece Forum today, which highlighted the challenges arising for the sector from the evolution of technology, the necessary upskilling & reskilling for the human potential and the need for more sustainable practices. See the detailed program here.
