HORECA exhibition, with a feeling of solidarity for the people of Turkey, contributes to the relief effort of those affected by the devastating earthquake.

During the opening ceremony, Mr. Peter Ottmann, CEO of the NürnbergMesse Group, of which FORUM S.A. is a member, expressed his condolences to the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and stated that HORECA, in response to the great humanitarian crisis caused by the earthquake in the neighboring country, is donating 1 euro for every square meter sold at this year exhibition, with the donation reaching the amount of 26 thousand euros”.

Mr. Thanasis Panagoulias, President & CEO of FORUM SA, expressed his sorrow for the victims of the earthquake and stated that HORECA will contribute with the immediate donation, as an urgent aid for the relief of the earthquake victims in the affected areas. He also added that the thoughts and wishes of all the employees of the organizing company of HORECA exhibition are next to those who have been affected by this disaster and to the rescue crews who are fighting the great battle to save lives. The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Onur Katmerci, DCM at the Turkish Embassy in Athens, who thanked HORECA for their support and assistance to Turkey and accepted the donation on behalf of the Turkish government.
