With a steep increase in quality visitors from 49,712 businesses, the 13th HORECA 2018 has consolidated its reputation as the most significant and targeted commercial forum in Greece. 

Approximately 125,000 professionals from 49,712 businesses of the hospitality and the entirety of the foodservice industry, have crossed the HORECA 2018 threshold, from 9-12 February, achieving, once again, a new record-setting turnout! In fact, the rate of increase in visitors was low compared with last year’s numbers, but according to the handling of the barcoded invitations, there is a dramatic surge in the quality of trade visitors. Extremely important also proved the high turnout of hoteliers and entrepreneurs from the wider foodservice sector, a fact that reveals the strong interest in terms of business and investments for these particular sectors—especially during a time of considerable increase in Tourism and Foodservice for Greece. Proof that HORECA responds to the actual needs of the two major pillars of the Greek economy, while, through the years, it has also evolved into the most significant commercial forum in the country.

Extremely important also proved the high turnout of hoteliers and entrepreneurs from the wider foodservice sector, a fact that reveals the strong interest in terms of business and investments for these particular sectors—especially during a time of considerable increase in Tourism and Foodservice for Greece. The number of entrepreneurs and professionals from the Hospitality and Foodservice industry from regional Greece was impressive.

Their absolute satisfaction with their participation in the exhibition HORECA 2018 expressed the exhibitors, confirming their participation in HORECA 2019 to a great extent.The results of the survey clearly show that the suppliers of the hotel industry and the tourism industry in general confirms once again the key role played by the HORECA exhibition over the years in improving the tourist product of our country and enhances the fact that it is today the top trade forum for the tourism industry in Greece, Cyprus and Southeastern Europe.
