The next segment featured a very interesting discussion on specific issues related to the implementation of the digital work card. In response to a question about whether the measure would “slow down” tourism, Mr. Milapidis emphasized: “There is no indication that the implementation of the measure is associated with negative effects on the tourism sector.” Following this, Mr. Giorgos Tzilivakis, Director of the Labor Inspectorate, outlined the specifics of the hospitality industry and the inspection activities of the Independent Authority in businesses of the sector. Mr. Stavros Routsounis, Project Manager of 01 Solutions Hellas, then analyzed the technical parameters for the successful operation of the digital work card.

After questions from representatives of hotel industry associations, Ms. Kerameos encouraged all professionals to adopt the digital work card, familiarize themselves with its functions, and provide valuable feedback to the Ministry for further optimization.
