HORECA is an exhibition event that many describe as magical, and not without reason. Over the years, it has become synonymous with innovation, new trends, knowledge, passion, and success.
This year, HORECA once again proved to be the most important meeting and information point for dynamic entrepreneurs who envision, evolve, and follow the trends of the times. The largest exhibition in the country, over a packed four-day period, welcomed 76,250 professionals from every corner of Greece, ready to make significant commercial agreements.
It is worth mentioning that this year’s event saw 45% of visitors from Attica, while 55% came from other regions of the country, confirming that decision-makers from all over Greece, from the tourism and catering sectors, choose HORECA to meet top Greek and global brands and trust it for their search for innovative products, pioneering solutions, modern services, and technologies that contribute to the upgrade and healthy growth of their business.
A lively forum with networking & deals between exhibitors and visitors
The impressive turnout filled all 4 HALLS of the exhibition with smiles and optimism. The 500 exhibitors met their partners in person, presented their new products and custom solutions, networked, and introduced themselves to new entrepreneurs looking for the most radical and quality solutions for their business needs, whether it is a tourist accommodation, restaurant, café, bar, bakery, pastry shop, etc.
In their statements, they praised the excellent quality characteristics of the visitors. They were completely satisfied with the fact that they were visited by owners and executives of large and well-known hotel units, catering and café chains, as well as successful restaurants and catering companies.
Many significant opportunities were also closed by a very dynamic audience from wholesale, as well as from the bakery and pastry sectors.
This year, many new entrepreneurs planning to open their own business chose to come to HORECA to find everything they need for their first business step. Additionally, the desire for commercial expansion was particularly high among many professionals, resulting in investments in the products and services of the participating companies.
Innovation, inspiration, and passion dominated the Special Events
The parallel events of HORECA are an important part of the exhibition.
At the HORECA Business Lab, through workshops, case studies, and panel discussions, visitors had the opportunity to broaden their business horizons and learn about developments and trends in marketing and management of tourism and mass catering businesses.
The Coffee Championships 2025 by SCA Greece stage gathered a dynamic crowd that watched with great interest the “battles” to crown the top baristas.
At the same time, topics of gastronomy and the sustainability of dishes, as well as new trends and innovations in catering, were analyzed at the Gastronomy Lab by top names in Greek and global cuisine.
Finally, the exhibition hosted the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (HCH) Conference , celebrating its 90 years of contribution to Greek tourism. Additionally, a seminar on the implementation of the digital work card in tourism and catering was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, which attracted a large audience.
